I think there's a rule against using the DT acronym for anything but Dream Theater on a Dream Theater forum.

So, I was rendering a shot overnight for ~9 hours (with about 7-8 hours left to go), only to find i accidentally left an object visible in the background that I shouldn't have (it was invisible when I rendered it, but it showed up when I stuck a background behind it), so that was all wasted time.
But I realized that I didn't need to render it at full HD and could get away with 1600x900 easily, so at least the re-render will only take 13 hours instead of 17ish. So that's something, I guess....

You can use it anywhere except the DT side of the forum. If you use it for another band, you get called a fake fan.

That would drive me crazy, wasting hours on something only having to start over. I've been there in a sense though, going through intense router and switch configs and then realizing I left out some stupid detail but having to comb through it finding the wrong IP address or that I fat-fingered the wrong password.

Using my new keyboard for the first time. Damn these keys are super light. That's going to take getting used to. My old keyboard was so heavy I could mash it and not make any typos. This one I'm randomly pressing all kinds of keys.

I just spent ~$375 to put together a computer keyboard, so obviously my standards are a little higher than the cheapo thing Apple makes. Deal with it.  It's not for everyone.

I can't type on anything without decent travel. The tiniest little press activates the keys on my laptop, and it annoys the crap out of me. These mechanical keys are much lighter than the usual computer keyboards though, so it would be less of an adjustment.
