 I feel your pain. I get migraines as well. They really suck balls. All I want to do is lay in a dark room. put a cold compress on my eyes. No light, noise or smells.. Feel better dude.

Yeah. They tend to be weather-related as well as stress-induced. I don't get them more often than once every two weeks or so, but I just bitch and moan about it a lot when I get them. I've talked to my doc and he wasn't overly concerned, though I do know I cannot take anything like Imitrex. If I bring it up to him again he might revisit it. Typically they go away after 8-16 hours.

The thing is they aren't totally typical. I don't get an aura and I have no real sensitivity to light or sound. I just get this horrible crushing pain in my right temple that, over the course of the day, migrates and spreads around the right side of my skull to the base of my neck. I almost always wake up with them and then they last hours. Eventually, it just melts away.

I have been toying with the idea of trying one of those cervical pillows (expensive fuckers) to see if it isn't somehow related to neck tension while I sleep.

Have you kept track of what you eat and drink. There can be triggers. I have done that but there is no constant that triggers mine.

It originally said "an adjective", so the "an" was correct at some point. It wouldn't be king unless there was still a grammatical issue.
