I chickened out of one at the last minute and made them pull it instead, then I got dry socket. FML. worst pain in my life, would've rather been in labor one more time than deal with that for days on end. Horrible. Plus that space in the back of my mouth now where I could've still had a tooth to chew with. Congrats on going through with it. Hope the beer helps.

I have feeling in my lip again so that's good. No pain yet, but I'm on 600 mg ibuprofen + extra strength Tylenol. Hopefully that keeps on working well.

Hey guys. Sorry I've been scarce. Been busy as shit between work and helping Panda take care of a friend who's having medical and home issues.

Anyway...

Today I got to experience the actual office environment. I spent the entire day shadowing different workers in different units. Mind you, I've only had like 2 days (out of 10 weeks) worth of the training, so most of what they were doing went way over my head. It was cool to see what I will be doing, and to learn the office (before today I had only been in a conference room in the bottom floor).

One of the biggest things I learned was the entire staff is chill as fuck. Also... I am going to be working in a building closed off to the public. As in... it doesn't have a publicly listed address. All mail or what not is directed straight to the agency HQ building (which is literally across the parking lot). It being closed off means 2 things. 1: I will NOT be dealing with people face to face. I believe all of my work will be with online referrals. (I am beyond stoked). and 2: the dress policy is more relaxed. I could get away with jeans and a polo if I wanted to. I probably wouldn't even attempt to until I am off probation... but it is cool to know.

I am so stoked to get back into the class room tomorrow and keep learning the systems and what not!

And I am thinking about dropping my security job all together. For 2 reasons. A: I've been gone for a week and I guess the bullshit there has increased tenfold... and 2: I need to get approval from HR to work any other job. I know it's NOT a conflict of interest... but my site manager (who interviewed and hired me) made a comment about today to me (first time I have ran into him since I started) about "No more security, right?" ... He walks around the community I work. I can't hide from him.

If we're doing somewhere then yeah we'll get all dolled up but it's hardly necessary when you're just going to school or just doing regular every day housework/errands. People at Walmart do not care what I look like and the bar is low enough there that neither do I.
