While it's nice that my vacation starts tomorrow so I don't have to be in the office the day after the Super Bowl, I'll be up earlier than a work day to head to the airport.

I have a buddy who's flying out the next day at 7 am from Logan Airport to work in a pit crew for an off road race. I can't wait to see the pictures. My buddy is an engineer and helped design the suspension for the due's ride.

. I started a diet this year too, I'm down 10 pounds as of this morning. I still have my cheat meals but I don't eat like garbage on a daily basis like I used to.

Giving up soft drinks was the easiest thing to do.

I just used to eat too many biscuits ( cookies ). I could eat a pack in a day.

I need to replace biscuits with nuts and fruit.

But this weekend my willpower has been flagging

At work there's been like chocolate around and they bought a whole load of really posh really nice cookies

Dammit !!

My dinner is almost always take out. I work the night shift so I usually grab something to eat that's close by. I'm getting better at bringing lunch though, plus it's a good save of money. I used to spend something like $200 a week on food for myself.

I spend $100-$200 a week on groceries for a family of 4. I've saved a good bit not buying every day as well. Plus, healthier.

I spend the better part of $80 on eating out per week. Working in a city is shitty in that regard. I could bag a lunch, but part of being in the office is showing face and going out with people you work with for relationships/networking. I hate it but abide. Victoria and I will get delivery 2 or 3 nights a week.

I work in a cafe so I can get food free. Lately i've been making 2 or 3 boiled eggs if i'm on a longer shift.

I just went out for my 30 min 2 mile power walk. The start of it is half a mile up a steep hill and I dislike jogging so I walk it as fast as I can and it's exhausting.

But I keep going for the rest of the course and i'm spent when i get home !!

Actually I worked at like 4 Starbucks and I enjoyed every one of them.

Dunno what it would be like for you but they do seem to hire people that aren't pricks over here.

All the managers were chill and could joke - and actually helped out on bar and till when need be. Not just sat in the office not lifting a finger.

The interview process is quite extensive. They probably find out about your temperament from it.
