My main instrument is air bass. I'm quite proficient at it. I'm no slouch at air drums either.

Didn't you say after the family Disney trip you had a concert the night night you were back home?

Came in to a raft of site changes from the boss. Shouldn't take too long, but I hope I can actually make the changes. A lot of the site was coded and built by a loser designer who has since dropped off the planet, yet still maintains strict control of the files and my boss hasn't pursued getting them from him. *sigh*

I mainly play acoustic music so at most I'll have multiple tracks of guitar. I used to do drum and bass but I haven't touched any of that stuff or my electric guitar in ages.

It's funny for years I was a huge gear head but now I just pick up my Martin and go.

But yeah, you remember somewhat correctly - it's in September.  Disney cruise the end of August, then Prog/Power USA after labour day.  Still haven't broke the news to mrs.jingle yet.

What is the timeframe that you would be moving hef?

My wife would move down to start her job in the next couple of weeks.  I most likely would stay put for at least a month and a half or so, when my youngest gets out of school.  Then the kids would go, and I would go as soon as I can find a new job.

Oh, we'll be trying to sell our house through all of that too lol

Well, a great many of the things she wanted fixed are out of my control. Thankfully, she accepted my answers and does not expect me to basically fix the unfixable blindfolded and half sedated. Woo. She did, however, request that I reach out to our developed who, by all accounts, has vanished from existence and no longer offers any support of any kind.

It will be time for us to consider starting the process of moving soon and I am dreading it. We won't HAVE to move at all, but it would be a good thing to progress and advance a bit.

I've got probably another 6-10 months of living at home. I've managed to pay down the majority of what was a fairly hefty amount of student loans, and once that's done I'll get an apartment somewhere close to my office.

We're in a good place financially to do it, but it is such a huge undertaking and it isn't urgent, so the reluctance is very high. But every time I drive past larger homes and different neighborhoods my mind starts mulling over the process.

Whatever you get from the mortgage company, don't go to the limit.  It will allow you to be able to make repairs needed or the changes you would like to make to your new house.

Well, you get into this for $20,000 more you can get into these houses and they are tempting.  You have to look at, is this extra 20 grand on the loan worth the amount of money for repairs we want to do?  It's takes some # crushing for sure.
