Stranger In a Strange Land - 10 votes - 38.5%
Alexander the Great - 10 votes - 38.5%

Eliminated:
1.
2.

3.
4. Wasted Years
5. Sea of Madness
6. Heaven Can Wait
7. The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner
8. Deja Vu

We have a tiebreaker now to determine which song will go to consolations from Somewhere In Time... The survivor of these two will go to finals along with Caught Somewhere In Time.

____________

It really pains me to have to vote for this song not once but twice, since I like it a whole lot. Especially, and this cannot be emphasized enough, that guitar solo. However, up against Alexander, I have little choice about what to vote for.

Surprising. I thought Alexander the Great would easily win the Somewhere in Time survivor.

Both songs are masterpieces, though.

Folks, this vote is currently tied, and, believe it or not, these two songs have also received the same total number of votes (which is method for the second tiebreaker).

Still over 24 hours to vote as of this post. Please vote and hopefully break the tie, because otherwise I'm going to have to track down someone who hasn't been voting to decide between these two.

Damn, now we anti-macedonians we need two votes against Alex
I use my sig to pimp some bands from Italy! Check out Elvenking (Power / Folk metal), Folkstone (Rock / Medieval metal), Arcana Opera (Gothic/Noir/Heavy metal) and the beautiful voice of Elisa!

What in the blue hell am I missing with Stanger in a Strange Land? That would have been one of the first songs off for me.

The guitar solo, for one. It's the best in the band's entire discography IMO.
