As mentioned in the first thread, pick your five favorite songs from this year. Two will advance to the 80s finals.

The ultimate goal: to see what DTF's favorite number 1 song of the 1980s is.

Here we have the choices for 1985, and there are many. 10 of these number 1s spent only one week at the top spot.

Great year for pop hits.  This was probably my hardest year for cutting potential top 5 songs.

The Miami Vice Theme is interesting because it has quite the Jeff Beckisms going on (which isn't a surprise)
Tears for Fears took me by surprise this year.

A ha - Take on Me was battling for the last spot with Miami Vice.
