The Astonishing now, easily. So many vocal production problems.

How? While I don't agree, I understand how people like the album overall, but second best vocals? The vocals are a mess.

I think LaBrie does the theatrical stuff really well. I'd agree there are some production issues and some very obviously autotuned parts, but I think he fits the style of the album better than any of the metal-orientated albums (Awake aside). And to be honest I think sometimes LaBrie's voice needs a bit of stuff on it, it can get irritating in the high sections where it sounds like he's putting all of his effort into just hitting the notes

Systematic Chaos is my vote here, LaBrie and metal aren't a nice mix

The vocal melodies on the album are absolutely top notch and they don't really sound too bad. The main reason I like the album so much is because of LaBrie's vocals.

Maybe Ill resort to voting random stuff to save TA, one of the best albums vocal-wise. My Awake vote is useless anyways.
people on this board are actual music fans who developed taste in music and not casual listeners who are following current fashion trends and listening to only current commercial hits.
