Leprous Survivor 2016: Tall Poppy Syndrome - Round 1
« on: March 29, 2016, 03:17:38 AM »
Rules of this survivor:
#1 - finals
#2 - finals

#3 - consolations
#4 - consolations

#5 -
#6 -
#7 -
#8 -

My vote goes to the titletrack. I like it, but the others are just better in my opinion.
Half of the album songs will stay in the game. I can imagine the 7th and 8th, but I've got no idea for the other results.

Fate. It's not a bad song by any means, but all the softer/slower songs the band has released afterwards are far, far better.
Hey dude slow the fuck down so we can finish together at the same time.

Yeah, Fate. I can't quite listen to it because of the bad english.

Fate would be my next choice. I can't recognize the bad English in that particular song. Sadly I don't know the lyrics of many songs, I judge only the music most of the time.
I remember that during a concert in 2011 in Milan there was a guy whose favourite song was Fate, and he was disappointed for the fact that they didn't played it :D

I won't do a tiebreaker round in this situation, I would just eliminate both of them. There are no other criteria for choosing which song to eliminate and I think noone will change its opinion..

I forgot the deadline is tomorrow, so there's still time to break the tie

Broken!..

Tall Poppy Syndrome..

I guess that it proves how much I love the vocals in this band.. I mean, e.g, what I most like of DT (and many other bands) is the instrumental part.. Well, with Leprous is almost the other way around..

I still like less Phantom Pain than Fate, so I'm glad my vote help in its survivor..

I prefer 1 day too, I usually watch the forum frequently now to see results.. At least having this round opened for2 days let us reach 10 votes, yesterday were only 6-7.
Now that there is a sufficient number of people I will continue with 1 day rounds. In 2 hours I will publish the new round, I have a lesson now.
If I remember well, in your Haken Survivor rounds lasted 2 days, it's strange that you asked this

Maybe in 2014 I did do 2-day rounds, but in the 2015 edition I definitely used 1-day rounds. I might be slightly more active now than I was then, that might account for my impatience.

Maybe it was the edition of 2014. I took inspiration from another survivor that had 2 day rounds, but I forgot which survivor was, and I didn't participate in many of them.
