Nah, not Leo.  Not too bad a guess though.

Best guess:  Matt Frenette, drummer for Loverboy

Checked images and its close. I also checked out 'Working For The Weekend'.  Damn, their bassist looks like Theon Greyjoy.

Kinison, damn in the correct dosage, he was a riot.

That's an awesome guess, Joe! But it doesn't seem that Frenette has a left arm tattoo.
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related

Maybe we are looking at it all wrong.  Maybe it's a comedian.   One of Sam's friend.

Between checking out his face on pause, and really looking at Jessica's....uhm, er.....well, I got kinda distracted and did not notice......

All this thread and that video did was remind me of how much I couldn't stand Sam Kinison.   :lol :lol

kind of looks like Kevin DuBrow but I have no idea

That's who I thought it was straight up.

It's gotta be someone who played with Billy at that time but I can't track him down on wiki.  The guy on the other side of Billy seems to be bass player at the time Kenny Aaronson.  I found one old photo of him which pretty much looks like that guy.

So possibly the other guy is another one of Billy's band members too?

Everyone else, except Wolfking is wrong.

I had to Google Sam Kinison :neverusethis:

Could the guy in question be Paul Varga of Talas?

Not Paul Varga. No arm tat. Best guess yet, though.

No doubt! Though his part in Back to School was hilarious.

Kinison had some great bits.

Jesus' wife telling him to stop hanging out with those no good friends.  Didn't let her know where he was all weekend.

Haji.  Don't take the food to them.  Take them to the food.  This is sand.  Nothing grows here.

I agree, occasionally there was a good joke or two, but the whole persona was so annoying to me that it was not worth digging through.  There were so many other guys that were funnier.

Like the man who passed today, Garry Shandling.  I thought he was HILARIOUS.   RIP.

Got to be honest; this is driving me crazy.  I first thought Doc McGhee, because he managed (at one time or another) half that video.   I don't think it's him.  Then I thought, Paul Rodgers, but nixed that idea.   Not anyone else from Idol's band.  Not anyone from Alice Cooper's band, as far as I can tell.

But I think he's more than an 'extra'.   I could swear that I've seen him before.

I just outright love comedy.  I like the high level stuff and the low level stuff.

If you are talking about scripted stuff (TV in this case) Garry is worlds better than Kinison.  I had no problem with the Kinison comedy persona.  The problem was all the people that decided they were going to repeat his jokes while imitating that persona.  At the height of his popularity (and Dice's) everybody was doing it (badly).

Now Bobcat Goldthwait.  That's a persona that tires quickly.  He did get Nikki Cox though, so I also admire him.

Yeah that shot at 1:46 is the best one of him. Looks like a young Jason Alexander.

But I'm determined to figure out who it is just on principle now.

I saw that and considered it for a moment, but nah, that is absolutely not Ron Jeremy in any way.  The picture of him on the IMDB page is pretty much exactly how he has always looked.

I followed the same trail as you, but that mo has always been a permanent part of his face, and the guy in the video appears to have a huge arm tattoo.

I met Ron Jeremy (in passing) in LA back in '91, and his hair looked NOTHING like the guy in that video, and his face is pudgy, but much rounder than that guy.

I had considered RJ, but have never seen him without the stache. Moreover, he runs into the same problem as everybody else, which is that he doesn't have that big-ass tat on his arm.

Tat or not, I can unequivocally say that is NOT Ron Jeremy. I haven't found him elsewhere in the video (because I haven't looked, TBH) but that is NOT him.
