A buddy of mine was discussing Sam Kinison's "Wild Thing" on FB and a few of us were naming some of the different rock stars that showed up in the video. We couldn't seem to determine the identity of the receding hairline guy standing to the right of Billy Idol (to Billy's left) in the video. Maybe one of you may know? He only shows up very quickly a few times, so it's hard to catch a great shot of the guy.

As you all recall, you should probably assume that a scantily clad Jessica Hahn is considerably questionable for work.

Looking like that, he's gotta be a drummer or keyboardist, and we can eliminate keyboardist because he was allowed in the video. I hope that helps.

According to Wikipedia, it included Jon Bon Jovi, Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Jonathan Cain, Deen Castronovo, Richie Sambora, Alec John Such, Slash, Steven Adler, Rick Marty of Alice Cooper (and apparently a zillion other bands, I can't seem to find much on him, picture-wise), Tommy Lee, C.C. DeVille, Rudy Sarzo, Billy Idol, and Ratt.

I feel like it must be someone from Idol's band, but not sure who. I'm not real familiar, and the searches I came up with for band members from that time period, don't help much.

I'm starting to wonder if the guy isn't just some random extra that happened to be hanging around the shoot. For the type and look of rock stars that are in the video, this guy is like the head of lettuce in a bowl of apples, bananas, and oranges.

He looks like Doc Maghee. He was managing a lot of those acts at the time, so maybe he did a Hitchcokian cameo.

Well... he's shorter than Billy, and with that hairline it makes me think it's Klaus Meine - though it doesn't really look like him.

Finding pics of Doc McGhee or other quasi-famous people from that time (what was it 89-90?) isn't easy.

Wondered if it could be something you don't even think about like Kinison's brother or a comedian friend like Bill Hicks (or Howie Mandel - because the hair)

One thing we can be sure about. If it was somebody from a band that never quite made it, there's a fan out there swearing this dude is highly underrated.

Looks a little bit like Billy Crystal, looks a little bit like Neil Schon and looks a little bit like Klaus Meine but sure isn't neither of them.
Probably not a big name in HAIR metal.
