Well honestly it's not their strong point. But their sound is very raw so it works

What I sent is the most covered up.

i don't expect to do as well as I did in the first prelim, but barring this song unexpectedly bombing I am assuming it's good enough to go through to the next round and am deciding between several possibles for round 1.
I don’t know what to put here anymore

Well that was definitely something you complained about on my Burial and Janelle Monae submissions in your v1, and El Mañana doesn't precisely sound crystal clear :P

I actually thought you sent one of your solo songs! I see: Evermind - King of the Cockroach?

Lechuga - Entre 2 Mundos is mine of course :metal

Well, you're almost spot on regarding the amount of letters.

And no offense, but I think you'll be eliminated with this Lechuga song.

Of those that haven't been called out yet, I see Eluveitie and Blessed by a Broken Heart, two bands I only know by name.

Circus Maximus - Abyss

Nice catch!

---

I see quite a bunch of people calling out the song they've sent. So, is this what we do in this roulette now, tell each other what we have sent? :lol I'm more of a 'wait-and-see' kind of guy, but if everybody does it I'll adapt to that as well.

Good find with Eluveitie, missed that one.

Well, if someone guesses my band / song from the picture, I will admit it was me who send that. Otherwise I'll be quiet about my songs.

I sent Eluveitie. Song with minimal amount of growls, one of their most popular (you probably know which one).

Pretty sure I see Evergrey - though I'll be damned to figure out what song it is with "of the"  Either way...   >:(  Probably Kade or Ruslan there that cockblocked me.  I was counting on using them.

I already know what Brent sent, and he knows mine - Kade might be able to pick mine out.
Circus Maximus - Abyss

You cockblock Blessed By A Broken Heart, didn't you?
Everyone else, except Wolfking is wrong.

That's one of the songs from the new album that was released as a single, right? I remember thinking one of the two was okay but didn't like the other, not sure which one is which though. :lol I'd probably just have rejected either of them anyway since I listened to them not all that long ago.

I think it was in retaliation against Brent, who managed to cockblock him on something else first.

No one has even attempted to guess mine. That said it's probably because the band is entirely covered up and only about four letters of the song are uncovered :lol

Havoc is the one everyone hates. I like it alright but it's not great, one of the other singles, Pages, was very strong IMO, but it sure as hell isn't close to Abyss, great choice by Elite, one of my favorites, if not favorite off Isolate.

Isolate is a really strong album overall and my favourite by them (with their debut not far behind). I considered holding on to CM so I could send a longer song (Architect of Fortune, Ultimate Sacrifice, Glory of the Empire, The 1st Chapter) later on in the roulette, but I figured Abyss would do well enough to get me into the main competition before someone else sends them.

So there, black on white, I sent that track indeed.

I know.  At least I don't have to try and figure what to send from them now.  It's funny, that was the FIRST band I thought of as a big gaping hole when I saw the banned list.  Oh well, at least someone sent 'em.

I was deciding between Mark of the Triangle and Misled. I figured he might not like any of these two too much, but with my good score in the first round, my victory in the first installment and people sending bands like Lechuga I think I've got more than a decent shot at getting through.

I think you're making the Lechuga song out to be worse than it is to be honest, it's quite different for sure, but Bolsters does like the things David Maxim Micic puts out if I recall correctly. Lechuga worked together with DMM and has some elements that remind me of him very much, so I don't think it's that much of a long shot at all. I guess we'll see once results are in though.
