The next one is going to be so blurry, you won't be able to tell that the image even contains words.

Alright, since you already know 95% of it:

I'm not in this roulette
Why is that?

Conflict of interest.

Nah, I didn't see that many holes in your banned list for me to jump through. A lot of the artists that I don't always expect DTFers to have, you have, probably because you have more of an inclination to pop than most. Anyway, I think I'd run out of artists to send you after about 5 rounds.

If it was just a matter of you had an empty space, I might give it a shot, but I feel like when there's a qualifying round that if I do manage to make it through by sending one really good song in the qualifying round, I then get in trouble midway through when I run out of artists—so for your sake and the sake of competition, I don't want to try to compete for a spot if I feel that I'm going to underperform if I do get it.

But I will show up in this thread to comment on songs and to harass Parama as much as you want.
And if spirit's a sign,
Then it's only a matter of time

Honestly I think Rust and Turntail are the two best songs on the album. I burnt myself on firelight, but it is the song that got me into them.
I feel strangely honored to be following up a post from Sir Walrus Cauliflower.

Damn, some balls sending Rust.

I don't think I'd send anything off Bloom unless there was a round where I could send 2 consecutive songs (Bloom/Marigold) That transitions is just prog heaven. I don't think Rust can live up to that, even though I really like that song. I'm pretty sure Rust is Walrus' song. I definitely think Marigold is a better standalone track than Rust so whoever sent that might just edge out the Rust sender.

Epysode is probably Chad's? I've seen Nocturnal Rites and Dream Evil in Evermind's roulette though I don't remember who sent them.

Rival Sons is mine, pretty confident about it, though this seems like a very solid round.

I suppose I should have posted this when I unveiled all of the songs...it's the Spotify playlist for the round. One song is missing however because it isn't available on Spotify.

Some of these replies are awesome :lol Parama you crack me up.

I think Evermind sent Within Tenptation and jingly sent Epysode. That's all I got for now. Two people sending a song from the same album is funny though.

This is spot on.

Out of the ones still not guessed, I can see Klone - Immersion, must be Tomislav who sent it. Epysode is totally Chad, Dream Evil is probably Nelson's and Kade must've sent Nocturnal Rites after it scored big in my roulette.

I'm pretty sure Rust is Walrus' song.

I'm pretty sure about that too especially since he outright said that on the previous page.

I toyed with sending Within Temptation as well, but decided on Muse. I'm really curious what Bolsters will think, I can see this going both horribly or great.

I'm pretty sure Within Temptation will do fine. He seems to like symphonic female-fronted metal. I think he's the only person I saw who has both Diabulus in Musica and Temperance on the banned list - not counting me, that is.

I'll hold my hands up, I sent Larry and his Flask. They are pure god damn energy on stage. I saw them supporting someone else I could potentially send in this roulette and they tore the house down. I'm just hoping they come back to the UK to play some time soon.

Whether I'll get anywhere in this roulette or not is doubtful........

But I stand by my choice  :hat

You all get me pegged correctly.

As for the rest of the bands, hell, I only know a few of them.  These results are gonna be interesting.  Klone was somewhat interesting to me, I checked them out last year, and remember them to be very dark and Devy-like.

But I stand by my choice  :hat

:lol not my brightest moment. Just came home from a long long night when I wrote that, and I didn't check anything exceot for the blurred pic.

I just checked Pendulum and it's really great.
That's nice, will send you some Pendulum with female vocals in your 6th round then.

I prefer Rust in every way, but that's just me. One of the best things about Bloom imo is that every track works very well together as an album, but also individually. Rust just has some of grooviest riffs and fun stuff to play, and some very nice vocal melodies. Something about it just gets me.

Totally fair dude. I mean, as to speak for myself, I got Marigold in my last roulette and really liked it(8.5/10 I think), I thought it started very abruptly but made for a pretty good single nonetheless. Bloom on the other hand, I would probably never listen to individually, not following it up with Marigold would seem weird to me.

As for Rust, love it. Bolsters has DMM on his banned list I think so he's probably not afraid to hear some djent stuff thrown in either, I really love that little breakdown after the chorus. This is one of those bands where I honestly couldn't tell what aspect is the highlight for me, everything balances out perfectly.

Exactly. As far as I'm concerned just about every song is absolutely wonderful, Rust just happens to be my favorite. That breakdown is a big reason actually. I actually flipped a coin between rust and Turntail because I couldn't decide  :lol
