Gilligans Island. Man the first 2 seasons were so good, but after that, way downhill!!

Seriously, Family Guy. Early seasons were so funny including after it came back from cancellation. But, the last 3 or 4 are really, really bad, not even remotely funny. Writers definetly ran out of ideas.

Actually, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I'm sorry, but season 6 is painfully awkward. I simply cannot get through it.

I enjoyed S6 and I think there's some really good stuff there, but I feel like S5 was really the perfect ending for the show.

I'm actually currently about 3/4 of the way through S6. I definitely much prefer the earlier seasons, although I haven't found it that bad.

I always enjoyed watching that show, but I never saw the last two seasons.

Who would have thought her younger sister would turn out to look this good?

I watched the first few episodes of BB on Netflix and just don't get the hype. Oh well

The show doesn't really go full throttle until season 3. The first season was pretty good, but nothing game changing. I'd highly encourage you to watch through at least the first season and maybe a few episodes into season 2. That show had one of the most satisfying final seasons of any show I've watched, ever.

Even if Breaking Bad doens't live up to the hype (it doesn't) it's still worth the time.

I started re-watching Heroes last night. Really liked it back when it aired, and I remember S1 being really strong, but I remember giving up on the show in S4 (the final season) because it went off the rails completely. Curious to see how re-watching it all these years will affect that, maybe I can get through S4.  :P

Same here. Eventually everyone started to say that it was beginning to suck, so I lost motivation.

That's my concern. I can't just stop a show in the middle of the series. It's unseemly.

Lost was very first show that I started following, prior to that any show or series I really didn't care and would catch episodes here and there with no real sense of purpose or continuity. After Lost, Heroes was the very next show I started watching and following. Season 1 was great and highly enjoyable. Season 2 was short and had a very different pace and feel to it, but I didn't mind, warts and all I still watched it. It was cut short due to the writer's strike at the time. Season 3 was truly awful at every single turn and I still am amazed I stuck with the entire season all the way to the end. I think they fired several showrunners and writers and god knows who else while the making of the season. I didn't even bother with season 4, and haven't even watched the origins series either. After getting turned onto many other shows I don't even know if I could ever watch a 22-24 episode season anymore. I think 10-13 episodes is the sweet spot of any show without it feeling overly boring or dragging story lines.

The first season of Heroes was really fun.

The second seasons was a bit of a letdown.

The third was not good.

The fourth wasn't much better.

The 4th season had a really promising Villian that began in such a way that they could have taken him in some really great directions with some real depth. Of course they didn't and they just went full Sylar with him. Such a waste. Robert Knepper was great.

He's a great actor, for sure.  But that story just didn't work for me.

Oh totally, but for me it largely fell apart when he went all Sylar and was just about getting endless power cause no one loved him as a kid.

But he started off much more Magneto where he had become completely untrusting of normal people and wanted to make a cult like community of specials and had no issue of using violence against the inferior group.

Yeah, but I've seen that trope done before with much better writing.  So it didn't work for me from the get-go.  But I kept watching out of some stupid loyalty or something.

But hey, season 1 was really good.

Decided to ditch Daredevil about a quarter of the war through season 2. Really don't care about any of the characters and while the fighting is cool the novelty has worn off.

Yeah, I loved season 2!! I think it was a great effort and better than season 1. I thought JB was fantastic as Punisher and had some great scenes and the action fight scenes were off the chart...IMO. :tup

Meh. I liked the first season much more than the 2nd.

The Punisher stuff was great, but the Hand and Elektra stuff was just... not. I feel like Season 1 was much more fully realized, with better villain(s), and a much more focused story. Nobu and the magical ninjas of the Hand just lacked the presence of the Kingpin and his cronies.

A decent season overall but not a patch on the first one, IMO.

Just one: Fear the Walking Dead. The first season wasn't great by any means, but it was a masterpiece compared to the second season so far. I might watch the whole season when it's over, but I doubt it.

Does Cinemassacre on YouTube count ?

I was a fan of The Angry Video Game nerd for years and years but over time I just got tired of it.

I like it when James does proper reviews of things on his own but Mike Matei is an insufferable loud mouth who is in his thirties and still thinks constant swearing is hilarious.

I'm only watching the remainder of Season 2 just because it's close to being over. It's not good....at all....and I can't see what could possibly happen to make me want to watch the third season.

Aw man but season 6 has Once More With Feeling and Tabula Rasa.

I got through Season 2 but I agree it had nothing on Season 1. Season 1 had this incredible villain and really thrived on how Fisk was sort of a foil to Daredevil. Season 2 was then all marketed on Punisher, and if the season had focused more on Punisher instead of all the boring ninja apocalypse crap (because yes it was boring) it would have been much better.

Probably didn't help that I watched Jessica Jones between the seasons of Daredevil, and JJ had an excellent villain as well.

Oh Man that first episode was the best episode, seriously.  The show is just so fucking awful - It has nowhere near the budget for the story it's trying to tell, and the plot is just weird.  This is how series 1 ended...
