Wow, Buffalo is setting a record for number of times being jobbed by the refs in the final five seconds of a half.

Jimmy Graham is back to beasting.

And what a bizarre sequence to end the half. Should have been 15 yards for roughing the kicker.

Yea I don't see how that was NOT roughing the K.  That needs to be explained tomorrow, NFL!

Richard Sherman's true colors come out.  He can try to act all enlightened all he wants in interviews, but he's another dirty ass cheap shot artist.   Just like Talib  (who's on my Broncos, to demonstrate that I do not play favorites when it comes to crap like that).

I can't wait to hear the NFL excuse that one.  That might be the dirtiest hit I've seen all season.  And no flag.

Another Seattle MNF win greatly aided by the refs (had that penalty been called on Sherman, the Bills get a chip shot FG and then could have tied it at the end).  Lump this one in with the Fail Mary game against GB and the Detroit game last year.  :tdwn :tdwn

Fuck the Seahawks and fuck em hard. The NFL is just bowing to the whim of a fan base that'll show up in good numbers and buy tickets. Money talks 101.

Also, I'm a truly embittered Saints fan due to how no media is giving any attention whatsoever to my team even though they've won 4 out of their last 5. It's like everybody was suckin our dicks when we were that crippled also-ran Katrina city that miraculously won a Super Bowl but the nanosecond we stopped being glamorous it was business as usual the way they downplay any degree of attention we should get (yes, 4-4 is soso but teams that have crawled out of an early hole to right their ship usually get some love) and now it'd take a 14-2 season to even get any media outlets to acknowledge our team as even being an NFL franchise.

Matt Ryan's getting MVP nods while Drew Brees is getting ignored despite being on pace for more yards and TDs too. Fuck you media.

Post-Week 9 Power Rankings
1. New England - time to clown the Seahawks D again
2. Dallas - the clear best team in the NFC
3. Kansas City - another ugly win, but a win is a win
4. Atlanta - can their defense be good enough to make any kind of playoff run
5. Oakland - showed they are for real
6. Denver - o-line and run D continue to be a concern
7. Seattle - not nearly as good as their record, but it helps to have the officials playing the role of the 12th man at home games
8. Detroit - Jim Caldwell's blank stare sideline demeanor is easy to mock, but he has done a great job with Stafford
9. NY Giants - not sure they are really this good, but so many teams are faltering right now
10. Houston - you just sense they are going to blow that division

Trending Up:

Miami - the emergence of Ajayi has been huge
New Orleans - Brees is still playing out of his mind
Carolina - not too late to make a run

Trending Down:

Minnesota - this team was so good early on, and so bad now
Pittsburgh - should still win that bad division, but Tomlin is doing an awful job so far
Philadelphia - growing pains with a rookie head coach and QB

MVP contenders:

1. Derek Carr
2. Matt Ryan
3. Tom Brady
4. Dak Prescott
5. Matt Stafford

note: Brees will move way up the list if the Saints ever get over .500

Nice to see the Giants getting some Kev love, but I kind of agree. At one moment they look like a solid team and another they look like crap.  If they could find some consistency they could be legit a top 10 team, but they haven't found it yet and seem to have been able to get some luck in their wins.

It's crazy how many average teams there are in the NFL right now.  The Lions, Giants and Texans all look like average NFL squads, yet I had them at 8, 9 and 10, because there is so much mediocrity right now.

Some other questions that they should've asked.

"Have you lived anywhere besides Massachusetts?"  "Seattle"
"Know of any good seafood places?"  "Seattle"
"Where are Boeing planes built?'  "Seattle"
"Where's the Space Needle?"  "Seattle"

See?  Now everyone's happy.   :lol

Sherman gets fined 9K for his cheap shot on the kicker the other day.  That's like giving me or you a 5 dollar fine for punching a stranger in the face on the street.

The MNF crew from the other night will receive no discipline for the way they botched the end of the first half.

It is getting harder and harder to take this league seriously.

To all the Seahawk haters.  Go ahead and give the Bills the 3 pts at the end of the first half. Seattle still would have won. Sherman went for the ball and not the kicker and the rule book sais there is no penalty for that. I'm sure you all didn't notice the obvious holding penalties by The Bills against Cliff Avril that never got called.. Oh, cough cough, what about the week before at the saints. The NFL issued an official apology to the Seahawks for some bogus calls that cost them the game. I hope the Seahawks whoop some Patriot arse, but I'm not holding my breath. I don't like the Pats, but they are dammn good! I would also like to see Dallas beat them in the super bowl..

There is no way to know that.  All we know is that the Bills got screwed big time.

Everybody, but some Seattle fans, knows that should have been a penalty on Sherman.

I thought it should have been a penallty at first. After seeing the replay in slow-mo, it was clear Sherman got to the ball first. Its funny how people villify Sherman over this, even though it was the refs call.  Seattle is the most penalized team in the NFL, but you guys say the refs are on their side..whatever!!!  Yet so many are quick to defend the Patriots who have been known to cut corners, lol!  However, I do admit the Pats beat Seattle fair and square in Super bowl 49.

Seattle is the most penalized team in the league because they play reckless, forcing officials to throw flags on every play, and since officials do not want to do that, they get away with a lot.  Regarding the Sherman play, he threw himself at the kicker like he was doing a barrel roll with his body; nobody blocks a kick like that ever.  And he threw himself where the ball would not have been; the fact that he barely touched the ball was irrelevant.  It was a blown non-call, plain and simple.
