It's one song name Kade - Secret Sphere.  I came very close to sending them in this roulette more than once.

I own Scent of A Human Desire I think it's called, pretty good album.

Italian bands aren't very creative when it comes to band names it seems. Soul Secret, Secret Sphere... is there also an Italian metal band called Soul Sphere?  :D

I had Mind Key on my reserve list for the EP. They should score very well with Ruslan.

(though I woulda gone with Wish &  Steadiness)

I don't know those songs.

Oops, crossing my Italian prog metal.

Good, thought I was going crazy.  Haven't heard their first album though, but google didn't help with those song titles.  :lol

You're not missing much.

I'd considered Secret Sphere too.
That's a word salad - and take it from me, I know word salad
I fear for the day when something happens on the right that is SO nuts that even Stadler says "That's crazy".

I was also considering Secret Sphere, but just couldn't come up with the right song. I love Michel Luppi. Glad he finally found a band!
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related

TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

That's what I was getting at with 'keyboardist' -  Coverdale's keyboardists all seem to coincidentally have great singing voices  :lol

Bugger...........I predicted I would get cock blocked this round and there it is (Sunburst - Out of the World and Remedy of My Heart)  :lol   But the two tracks sent are among my least favourite on the album  (7-8 ish for my taste).  Will be interesting to see how they score.

in that time honored tradition of shitting on your roulette opponents' song selections, those Almanac songs you sent were also not my favorites on that album (although the album is really good).  :lol
Winger would be better!

I wouldn't say 7-8 is "shitting on" your selections - but I did almost immediately regret posting that afterwards , fearing it may be taken the wrong way.  Sorry if it was....it really wasn't necessary to share my thoughts on those songs.

In the end only one man's opinion matters and he's too busy stuffing around with Avantasia  :lol

it's all in good fun.  But it's funny that often in these threads when you see a song revealed, someone else invariably says "not what I would have sent - songs X, Y, and Z are much better"  :rollin

Seems they're late as usual, the show should've started 5 minutes ago. Merchandise stand was great though, grabbed Swing of Death and City of Heroes there.

Okay, now I'm off, full report later. :D

Alright, I'm tired, so full report will come up tomorrow, but here are the bits regarding the setlist - we've got the same one they played in Budapest. No Bob, and his songs went like that: Shelter From the Rain was sung by Tobi, Michael and Amanda (she was doing all the Bob parts); The Great Mystery was Tobi with Eric Martin (he sucked at this song big time - well, he did suck at the whole show, in my opinion); and The Story Ain't Over was Tobi solo. A Restless Heart and the Obsidian Skies wasn't played.

Re: Evermind's Second Roulette v. This world is tearing me apart (Tidbits)

Anyway, sorry for my absence yesterday. Tidbits time! This time I'll post only four tidbits, because if I do six, it will be easy to match them with the respective entries.

If there was ever a song that lived up to its respective album name that much in this roulette, this is the one. Great pick.

I think a lot of people who’s following this thread are waiting for this write-up, so I’ll be careful to not give anything away. However, a certain advantage of these two songs is that I can outright say it’s djent and no one will give me the “idiot, it’s not djent, it’s
progressive metal with a heavy edge and polyrhythms / mathcore with downtuned guitars / folky black metal with a guitarist who likes to hit the strings in random moments” kind of looks.

I don’t mean to sound like a pussy, but this might just be a bit too heavy for me. Still, there are some excellent moments in this tune indeed, especially that vocal melodies in the chorus, love them.

I think my main problem (as of now) with this song is the singer. I can’t seem to get into his voice.
(Okay Tim, this obviously isn’t your tidbit. :lol )

Regarding the third tidbit, did you listen to my EP yet?? Definitely could be a track on that. I was worried about sending it as I was afraid it'd be too heavy. Might as well get your pussiness out of the way now! ;D

No, I'm all into the Round 7 listening. I did some sneak-peeks into the songs from upcoming rounds before, but I'm not doing that for EP round. I also won't listen to some songs from the EPs separately - only the whole thing as you built it for me.

Sometimes the heaviness works with me just fine (the intro and the instrumental part of Beyond the Bridge - Doorway to Salvation comes to mind), and sometimes it doesn't (Iris Divine song you sent me).

I got a c-note that says this is reserved for Neil Young.  I can't stand his voice.  Not a single song in his solo catalog can I tolerate.  It sure as shit ain't Kiske or Sunburst Ruslan is saying this about.  I don't know the vocals for Almanac or TesseracT, and I'd shart myself if it's for Mind Key.

Predictions:
First comment - Kiske
Second comment - Suburst
Third comment - TesseracT

That second one is obviously TesseracT, but it's probably the most worthless piece of teasing ever  it basically says "you all know this tidbit is about TesseracT, but I'm not going to add anything else".
