We have the „Things that piss me off“-thread but not all things in life are piss-off-worthy. Therefore I think we could use a thread for good or positive things, small or great.
And I start with the following story:
My youngest daughter (3 years) old couldn’t go into the kindergarten today for various reasons. Normally she then goes to her grandparents, but they are on a carribean cruise (lucky them), so they are not available. Both my wife and me have to work and both of us can’t get a day off easily on short notice.
So my boss heard me talking on the phone yesterday and intervened and said that I should bring my daughter with me to work. So I did and now she (my boss) and her colleagues are taking turns playing with my daughter, I can do my work and don’t have to use my vacation entitlement and everyone’s happy.
