I almost sent a different Enya track... Maybe I should have sent my original thought... Although it's an older track and you said you didn't like 80s production.
I don’t know what to put here anymore

Speaking of production, I sent Bob Dylan as a protest knowing full well that the dated texture might put you off.

Didn't expect a 4  :lol

Is this something we're doing now? Sending songs that Sacul probably won't like as protests? Because I did the same thing last round. Naturally, didn't work out as well for me as it did for you, but it could be fun. Time to send some power metal and classic prog.  :P

i'm just sad because Sacul has given the lowest scorings to two of my favorite entries i've sent in this roulette don't mind me i'm just going to send something really weird next round and get the lowest score of the whole roulette i guess

do you want repetitive & hypnotic or chaotic & loud first, sacul
i actually have 5 songs left i really want to send at this point but only room for four so one of them might get put on an EP if i make it that far, which i will not

I guess in theory, if you send songs Sacul doesn't like from his list, you're at least thinning the list. Even if they ain't on the list, if that band's name appears on his radar again in the future, he knows he didn't like it the first time.

But I made a list of songs to potentially send in R1, and unless everyone starts sending the exact same shit I have in mind, it should get me to R10 at least.

There are one or two artists on Sacul's list that I didn't even bother thinking about sending because I figured someone else would snap them up quick and they're still not sent by anyone, that I know of.

I'm sending songs with female vocals from now on. They tend to do good. Or people with a voice like sand and glue :neverusethis:

Sent some simple but very beautifull instrumental music. I forgot to say so in the message, but it's from your list (the songs name is the same as the name of the album)

I don't understand your tastes, they are not very consistent, whatever that means.

Yes, it's mostly the same as the album version so that's okay right? If you'd rather listen to the album version feel free to do so :p

Right on, seeing a lot of classics getting good scores followed by that Pearl Jam - Black score, definitely inconsistent.
people on this board are actual music fans who developed taste in music and not casual listeners who are following current fashion trends and listening to only current commercial hits.

« Reply #691 on: February 19, 2016, 11:54:02 PM »
I'm gonna copy Evermind and just post the most interesting tidbits :P

I don't really like this track, and I'm feeling you might actually get the lowest score of the roulette.

This is really beautiful, and I fucking love beautiful music.

What the fuck is this? :lol

I really like the atmosphere of this track, pretty chill - I love chill music, and this hits the right spots.

It's not as bad as I expected.

I prefer the parts without harsh vocals by a long shot.

Only one word defines this song: gorgeous. I reeaaaallyy need more music like this in my life.

One of the negative ones could easily be mine. I love the song I sent, but I know it's a big risk.

These could aptly describe my song so I have to hope one of them is mine, but I'm not optimistic.

Yeah, there's no way I can say THAT'S MINE DEFINITELY without fucking up. ALthough I personally think no. 7 ("I really like the atmosphere of this track, pretty chill - I love chill music, and this hits the right spots.") aptly describes how I would describe this particular song myself.
