To the judges, two questions: what's your take on hip-hop? Do you like some crazy electronic percussion, like glitches and such?
Well, I've never really listened to Hip-Hop and I don't really enjoy what little I do know. It's mostly mainstream stuff though, so maybe something more "indie" would suit me better. I wouldn't bet on it though. As for electronic percussion, I don't really mind it as long as it just enhances the song. A friend once played me a band called "Glitch Mob" that apparently use a lot of this weird percussion and I quite liked what I heard.
That being said, no matter the genre, the most important stuff in a song is always emotion, be it sadness, angriness, happiness or just a certain mood. If it leaves me cold in that regard you'll be lucky if you get a 9 (or a 3 in a sec round).
Also, I think you sent something kind of hip-hoppy / glitchy in my last roulette (at least I think it was you) that I felt rather lackluster about (at least looking back, I think I actually gave it a decent score back then). Make sure it's not the same thing.
I wouldn't put too much importance on those added-up scores. They might just be an indication of how strong the particular round of the judge was in terms of songs, rather than the overall "strictness" of the judge. Though it's kind of nice being seen as the "meanest", no expectations of being nice to fulfill
