Okay, I'm fine with you sending a 36 minute epic, but only so long as you don't turn around and say "results this weekend, right?" Because no. :P The only reason this round was so fast is because it was 18 minutes total.

Results right now.

Parama: Some Band That A Total Of Four People Have Ever Heard Of - Weird Metal Song

I didn't like this. The drums were weird. The vocals were too harsh. Your tastes suck.

This band is trying too hard to be like harsh noise - harsh noise. Fail.

Meh, with such scoring variety there's no way I'm going to get these three points back, not from Sacul at least since he seems to have an upper hand when it comes to judges' tastes.

I won't congratulate you yet but I don't see myself winning this.

You can expect my song this evening.
This first band is Soen very cool swingy jazz fusion kinda stuff.

Well, 3 points of difference in an out of 30 round is very little, so it's still anyone's game imo.

Funny thing is that now I'm starting to doubt about my final entry :lol

Keep in mind that there's always the possibility that Sacul might send something that has something in it that really bothers me and so I, in his terms, "meh" his song. If I give him a 6, say, you could make up all 3 points from me alone by getting a 9 and then you'd just need the other two judges to hold it steady. Even if he sends something I like but don't love, and you knock it out of the park, you could easily gain 2 points from me alone (like if I gave him a 7.5 and you a 9.5).

Not saying it's going to happen or even that it's likely to happen (especially because of the way Sacul has tended to catch fire with me late in roulettes), but I'm saying there's a chance, and it's not a chance that relies on Sacul sending Harsh Noise and you sending the second coming of Learning to Live.

I don't mind. Don't know about the other two and Bolsters. I think Parama did something similar earlier in the roulette.

If you're sending that mars volta song, I don't care because I have the album. I just never got around to listening to it for some reason.

I thought it would be that at first too, but Cassandra Gemini is 32 minutes not 36.

That said, go listen to that album already if you have it, what the hell

lolno. I have a song that will probably get me a 10 from Mr. Red but not sure how it will fare with the other 2 judges really, specially since the drums are a bit busy. Being 5 points down I can probably risk it but I'll take my time to decide

I'm three points behind and I'll be sending a song that probably won't resonate with any of the judges. I don't think it really matters at that point though.

Also, I'm not going with rock / metal this time for the sake of surprise.

@Evermind: come on, a bit more hope. If Sacul really goes through with his 30+ minutes song, there's a high chance someone will meh it.

And I'm okay with FLAC I guess. I'll probably convert it to mp3 for listening to it on the go, though.

No, it's not a Mars Volta song - and there's a high chance 425 will score it 6/10 because glitches :P

Will send it later today, want to upload it and make a decent writeup for it.

The closest I know to a 36-minute song is Sleeping in Traffic by Beardfish (35:44), the longest studio song I know of that's on one track, rather than split across several tracks.
