I used most of my big things in 425's roulette so they're banned now.

This is why you do an EP round. Gotta milk your contestants' libraries for all they're worth.
So now that I posted this same post in Bolsters because I can't do posting after a difficult working day, here we go:
Alright judges, before I send, I've got a question... how much attention are you willing to spare for each song now there's only three of us? I've got a very complex song, power metal, progressive metal, orchestra, lots of overlaying vocals, harmonies, the storyline, lots of subtle textures and changes of pace, 14+ minutes long too. But it really requires multiple listens (and I mean not 4-5 listens, I mean 10+ listens) to take everything into account. At least that's how it was for me.
Just be honest here, if you ain't gonna bother, I'm going with something much shorter and accessible.
I could see myself upping it from 3-4 listens (what I've been doing) to 6-7. As I tried to explain in an earlier post, I have a pretty temperamental ear which I can't really help, and which makes it very tough for me to do 10+ listens and finish on a timely basis. I could commit to listening to your song twice a day for 5 days if you really wanted me to, but I would get sick of most songs listening to them that much in that small of a time span.
So I would say either send it counting on me getting it well enough in 6-7 listens, send it and ask me to go for 10 and risk me getting tired of it, or send something else.
If it matters, I will take into consideration if there's a song that I like a lot on my roulette listens but don't entirely "get" yet, where I'm confident that there's more there to get. Just ask Parama about Light of Day, Day of Darkness (which I actually just recently got on CD).
