St. Pete Beach Florida. I know I'll have something interesting to come to work to this morning because the police were called last night. Stupid spring break kids.

Boss is out for the week again. Still no word on my new machine request.
I have a feeling most things will be slow this week with the exception of a couple larger projects that might trickle in. It's one of those "we'll get you all the info today and it will be very detailed" but I haven't seen anything yet so who really knows.

We wants details precious...yessss.

This dad booked a room for himself and his two girls and their two girl friends. Last night I get a call from the police saying that two of the girls were sobbing outside and they were locked out because the other girls locked the front door. Huge mess, one of them threw up on our deck. Just a shit show. What makes it even worse is all the other guests I have at the hotel are 50 years old and older. The best part about this is these girls are all under age so when the police showed up they had booze so they got underage drinking charges.

Father of the year comes in this morning to apologize. I asked him where he was and he went home a day early and left them at the hotel. Anyway, he gets to pay for the damages.

Well that build didn't take anywhere near as long as I thought it would. As long as there aren't too many changes/requests it should be pretty much set up. And once again, my boss is out all week so...

I haven't eaten yet and am also debating on the option of going out to get something fast or just stay here and munch a meal bar at my desk. Meh.

I can't eat small, so if I went to the vending machine and got Twizzlers or a bag of pretzels/potato chips, I'd be even hungrier after that. I could just wait until later and just get another coffee for now.

Hey Reap had a puncture in the back tyre again yesterday. Not so bad this time ! No shredded tyre !!

My dad came with the electric pump and I was close to home so we pumped it up and I drove about half a mile - pumped it up again and drove another half a mile.

Got home after three stops. Put some "Slime" sealant in the tube - put the bike on the stand and in second gear and let it spin for a while.

Left it over night and seems ok today. Been riding all day and the tyre is still hard. :tup.

Might just need to put some air in once a day.

So when the dealer told me they'd have my car ready today, what they really meant was we'll let the car sit all day Saturday and not touch it until this morning, and then they'll do the work in an order that takes the longest, and when I call to check up on it, they say it will "really be cutting it close" to get it finished up today. Now, I'd much rather them not rush and do it properly, but I also have a hair up there about people/businesses that give a promise date and then completely miss that date.

You're having some bad luck with tires recently :lol.

I've never gotten sealer to fully seal the tire, I've always had to keep putting air in it. Not the worst thing in the world, my rear tire lasts only 3k miles so they get changed out quickly anyway.

Well I pumped it up before I left town. Went around town once and tried again. Some air had come out but not a huge amount. So topped up again and went for a long drive.

Kicked the tyre every time I parked to make sure it was still hard.

Seems to be working. We couldn't see any holes in the tyre or any green blobs after installing the sealant which would suggest a Large hole.

Also - I could quite blatantly hear escaping air when i discovered the flat and now I cannot so there's that too.

Fill a squirt bottle with soapy water and spray it all over the tire. If there's still a leak, you'll see bubbles form around it.

Yes we normally do that but this seems to have done the trick :tup.

This "Slime" sealant is also supposed to slosh around inside the tube for 2 years ( you'd probably get a new tube in that time anyway ) - repairing any new holes you may get too.

It basically gets forced into a hole by the air in the tube and coagulates.

I've also read online not to leave the valve at 6 o clock when parked as it could settle in the valve. So i'll have to keep that in mind too.

Yes, likely. They were checking two things: one was the wireless upgrade, the other was a check engine light code that cleared itself but I wanted investigated anyway. They found a faulty hose and diaphragm so they had to get the new parts in this morning. Nothing serious. The wireless upgrade was done as of yesterday afternoon so I just have to wait to hear that they have finished the other repair and I'll be set to go.

EDIT: In before the "hose and diaphragm" jokes. :eyebrows:
