Never a bad time for pizza.

I ordered myself a pepperoni pizza on Thursday. I should have told them to make it well done, but it didn't stop me from eating the whole thing anyway.

Nap was my last word, as the wife and I had the opportunity to snooze while Emily slept and Eric played. Of course, we were woken up by a neighbor telling us Eric had found MB's car keys and was opening and closing the doors and lift gate to her van with the remote. :lol

What constitutes a "well done" pizza? Don't think I've ever ordered a pizza with that directive before.

One of my favorite things I love is when you get a pepperoni pizza and the edges of the pepperoni are slightly burned.

My computer buddy is going through a messy divorce and they were still battling it out big time.  I wasn't pushing.  So I'm ok.  Next stop, new motherboard and new hard drive to run everything.  I may buy another 1TB for storage as well.

Good evening.

My buddy is playing a show tonight at a bar a few towns away. Debating on whether or not I wanna go.
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

It took me this long to get into it. I'm still on the 1st season.

Lost went downhill very quickly after the first season. I stopped watching at some point in S2. That show has a lot to answer for.

Well, so far I'm all in. I'm intrigued as of now, but you'll know when I lose interest because I'll probably come on and say something and start cursing about it.

Maybe you'll like all of it, I don't know. There are good ideas in there, but I thought many of those ideas went nowhere and were mostly in there for the sake of creating mystery rather than adding real depth.

I have to get back to watching Doctor Who. Only 500-600 episodes left to go until I've seen them all. :lol

That's what I'm afraid of.  So far, the plot twists have been intriguing. However, like you said, sometimes plot twists are added in which are completely ridiculous. Or sometimes when you get to the backstory of a character, it's a complete letdown. I've already had a couple of interesting ways the story could go so we'll see if I'm right.

I can't remember much of it any more, and I won't mention where I gave up on it in case it's a spoiler.
I'm very picky on anything vaguely scifi/fantasy though.

The first season of Lost is one of my favourite series of a television show ever, and season two isn't far behind although it had some issues. But starting with season three, it steadily declines. I think it's because the early seasons are the characters against the island and against each other, but later on the characters are less important than the overall story and mythology, and I didn't find that as interesting. That and a lot of the new characters they introduced along the way just weren't as compelling as the originals.
