I've been okay I suppose. Just busy with work and school. Seems like the same thing I was doing 10 years ago.

I'm doing alright, just working at the moment. Work and school seem to go on forever.

Cecilia we are just discussing the best way to utilize time between sex and working out.

Maybe YOU were. I was trying to figure out how to make sexercise a legitimate workout program. I think I can work on that. I've definitely had far more sex than exercise in my life, and I'm pretty fit, so I might be able to sell it.

I entertained the idea of going back to school a couple years ago to pursue my MBA, but besides being ridiculously cost prohibitive at the time, I don't think I could prepare myself to reenter the school mentality again. I'm so far removed from classes, notes, and homework that I'd probably crash and burn. That and time to do it is nearly non-existent.

No kidding!! If I'm not at school, I'm at work. Every week I get the stupid ass customer comments "I see you every time I'm here! You must live here!"  Why yes, I do have my own apartment at work.

I completely understand! Alas, a masters is the new bachelors. You just have to set your mind to succeed, and you'll figure out if and when the right time to go back will be.

Well, it stopped itching and the swelling has gone down considerably, but I still can't watch Mr. Bean episodes without crying hysterically. All in all, quite well. Thanks for asking!

Well I have 11 years of experience and a director's title, so a Masters isn't really that necessary anymore. Most of the CMOs for whom I have worked have not had more advanced degrees and many C-levels don't have it either (many, not all, of course). I'm in no hurry and may never get one.

So then why were you thinking about going back to school?

Let me tell you, being a student is no fun, and when you're an older student, it's a lot worse. So much more things to balance. I am a good ten years older than some of my classmates, and that's only because I'm taking upper level courses. So that's just depressing. I have friends who I went to high school with who are nearly finished with medical school, and look where I am.

Because at the time I was entertaining the thought, I was not a director and had fewer than 10 years experience...and only one child. Circumstances were different and change over time.
