Yep, I was behind the camera to the left, watching it all go down.

Well, the hat was Scottish.

Although I do have some Scottish blood in me.
Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

:lol thanks Kotow

C'est rien du tout mon ami.

I have bought my bike a new starter switch , battery and now a chain. She should be good for a while hopefully.

Weather has been great recently and petrol is really cheap at the moment. Cost me under £5 to fill up the tank.

I'm all set for Spring / Summer :tup :coolio

Had to buy a chain online coz mine snapped. I searched for 1995 Yamaha SR-125 and ordered the one it came up with. Hope it's ok.

We still have the old chain which has two split-links on if we need to lengthen it by a couple if need be.

Nice :tup, I'm glad you're getting some good riding weather. It should be nice the coming week so hopefully I'll be able to ride my bike to work.

I was actually proud of myself yesterday :(

It was the first time i'd managed to adjust the back wheel so that the chain was not slack using the cogs. ( without Dad helping )...

Put all the tools away - got kitted up - rode bike off and in less than 50 yards the chain just snapped.

Skidded to a halt. I guess it was a blessing in disguise. I was not going very fast and if it was at 70mph I could have been thrown off if it happened.

AND I guess if the chain was worn away it's best to get a new one anyway :)

I hope I don't get a run of things breaking like last year. Every time you fix something and get excited again - something else goes *immediately* that you have to order and wait for :(

So disappointing.

Like - that time last year we'd ordered a part and set aside a day to fix. Finally got it attached. Started the bike up. Was about to ride off...noticed clutch lever was just hanging off.

:( ffs.

I had that happen to my car most recently. Had the serpentine belt break, replaced that, then the rain sensor went, followed by brakes.

Right before we replaced my wife's old Honda Civic many years ago, the exhaust fell apart (for the second time), so I ended up having to drop money into replacing from the CAT back...only to trade the car in 3 week later.  :censored

I recently TOOK my amp to the shop FOR a power tube replacement and dropped my guitar OFF for a refret.  The guitar is 26 YEARS old, and THE frets were pretty well worn.  You can look AT them and see how badly they've WORN down.  Happy for my tax return.

I wanted to try capitalizing seemingly random words as I've seen some people do, just to see how people would interpret it.  The content of the post is valid though.  You can look at the 12th-14th frets in particular and see how badly the frets are worn.

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

There used to be a member named FallenAwake that posted like that, very mysteriously, as if they had some kind of secret knowledge that no one else was privy to.

I pretty much hate every single fad that people do online.

The latest one is saying stuff is "lit". Or putting "AF" at the end of everything.

I supPOSE you couLD combine the thREE and say that shit is lit AF

I started playing more guitar this year and it's crazy how much you forget. I just spent 20 minute relearning "Night After Sidewalk" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AcaJ2e5w1Lc) even though I used to play it regularly for years :/

I got a call from the county. Tentative job offer. If I pass the background and physical tests, I am in.
