Stephen Fry made a joke on tv to a close friend of his who he was then seen with afterwards and both were perfectly happy with it. **

Then he gets inundated on Twitter with abuse for saying something terrible - even though it was intended for the person he was standing right next to - and is a good friend - who took it

as it was intended.

Fry then quits twitter saying that people are just out to be offended and to be offended " on behalf of people they don't even know ".


I agree. It seems more and more people these days are just out to be offended so they can get some attention for 5 minutes.

Some people really need to take a joke. Not just rush to the internet to complain every time someone slightly belittles you albeit unintentionally or playfully with no malice intended.

I took a year of calculus and I can't remember a thing. If not used in practical life,  you lose what you've learned sometimes.

I loved when I took Calc and Trig. Besides being a math geek, I loved that sometimes I would correct the teacher and all the college girls would come to me before class for help.

Calculus is awesome. I still have my notes from college.

I remember being particularly fond of Vector Calculus and Differential Equations. Doing exams for those subjects really calmed me for some weird reason lol, given that those exercises are like 10% Calculus and 90% algebra.

I'm a procrastinator. And such levels of shittery need to be cut down occasionally so they don't overgrow everything.
