The wife and I were going out to eat and seeing Deadpool for valentine's Day (how's that for a wife?!) but he job posted he schedule last Friday and put her on for work on Sunday.  We've got a birthday party to go to on Saturday, 3pm so there goes the chance to see Deadpool this week.

While we were at the bank yesterday, there was a pause in the action while the loan clerk waited for stuff to print. She looked at Mrs. P and said, "Any big plans this weekend?" Instantly Mrs.P responded with, "We're going to the first showing of Deadpool tomorrow night!"

I forget sometimes that you folks don't really know me all that well. If you did. If you'd spent years coming over for whiskey on the back patio. Or hiking in the desert. Or playing games while scamming chics at the arcade--just to bring it back around to current topics--you'd know that I'm a good natured smart ass that is playing largely to an audience of one. Namely me.

Nice, I'll have to hunt that place down the next time we're in Massachusetts...which should be June of 2017 for Mrs. P's graduation ceremony. I'd especially like to try that Lagavulin Double Matured just to see if the extra aging smooths it out some.
