Jay, I was a baseball nut but as I got older, it's harder to watch all the games. I still pay attention but barely watch anymore.

I start each season excited and gung ho to watch all the games.

But then Red Sox.

And then I quickly begin to lose interest.

I lived it.  in 1986 I went to 24 Red Sox games.

Clemens was 24-4 that year.  I was 22-2.  The 2 losses were Clemens.

I saved some idiot from getting nailed by a car. We were waiting on the corner for the light to change. It did. We had the right of way to walk. However, there was still a car straggling in the intersection at that same moment. The guy standing next to me started walking without looking. At that same moment the car floored it to get out of the intersection.  If I didn't grab the pedestrian he would have went right in front of the car.
