I only use my SONY over-the-ears .

What model do you have?

They diminish the range of sound, they hurt my damn ears over time and like others have said, they fall out.  I have a Sony noise canceling pair I love.

I despise ear buds.

Same here. The sound is just terrible.

Actually, I prefer ear buds over headphones.
I've been drinking beer since I was 18 and dabbled since I was 16. I have at least 500 beer bottles in my collection and love the fancy shit though my wallet doesn't. I'll drink liquor not even five times a year including shots or mixed drinks. Jack Daniels and Coke is an easy go-to for me. Very smooth nads candy sweet.

They have the obvious major advantage of portability, but aside from that, I'd say headphones all the way. Ear buds aren't good for your ears and don't sound great.

I agree with aren't good for your ears, but I use skullcandy  and the quality is pretty dang good.

I had these Sony headphones til I accidentally broke the cable.

They were outstanding.

I had what at the time were great headphones for me (Philips) and the cord broke. For some reason the cable got stiff (insert joke here) and from constant flexing it just snapped through entirely. I bought a 10ft regular stereo cable off eBay for a couple of bucks including shipping, chopped off one end and used it to replace the cable on my headphones. Good as new.

Same here. Annoyed by the endless cycle of time. Looking forward to the weekend then I realize I have school after the weekend. The cycle never ends.......I can't wait to finish school and actually get a job.

What model do you have?

I can't remember. It doesn't say on them. But it's the MDR ? I think ?

EDIT : https://n2.sdlcdn.com/imgs/a/i/p/Sony-MDR-ZX100-Headphone-1186724-2-88ef1.jpg < - - - Think it's these.

They're a touch bassy but i'd rather too much bass than way too much treble.

EDIT II : https://i58.tinypic.com/2l9skr8.jpg < - - - These are really good. Great flat response. Awesome for mixing. I might buy some more.

Over the ear vs ear buds is a preference thing.  With either, you can get a comfortable pair with great sound, or an uncomfortable pair with shitty sound for either.

I'm an ear bud kind of guy - even though there isn't much more annoying than shit-ass ones falling out on the slightest movement.  There's lots of different ways to get perfectly fitting ear buds.  I just got some custom molded earplugs, and am gonna try them out to make custom-fitted ear buds.

For in ears - i like the ones with the spongy ends which keep them in your ears and boost the low end.

I just use in ear OEM Samsung or the mid level Skull Candies (~$20). I tend to break / lose headphones too quickly for anything else. I do have some semi decent over ears that I use when played World of Warcraft (they have a semi decent mic on them). I'd love  some nice nice headphones for either application but I can't justify it.
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

I'm meeting my cousin after work. This is going to be the first time I've ever met her. We connected when I was doing my genealogy research. She was on Ancestry.com and we had similar people in our trees, so I messaged her. It wound up that we're cousins.

That's pretty awesome Prog!

I took a peak at ancestry once and they didn't have any information on me aside from the family I could find myself on facebook.

Sometimes you need to do a little more digging to find stuff. I stopped using Ancestry because there are plenty of other websites to find those same things and it's free elsewhere.

I have a spongy end

I don't give a f--k what my family tree is :lol

The way I see it - who my ancestors were doesn't change diddly squat about the person I am right now.

If i'm due to inherit billions because i'm in line to the throne somewhere in Europe then Yeah The Hell but that's not happening :lol

My Dad says our ancestors are French & German. That's fine by me. As long as they ain't Welsh

Going with the fam damily to a Norman Rockwell art exhibit tonight. We'll probably stop at a Mexican grill place for dinner before hand. I'm really looking forward to it after a fucked up day at the office.

Mrs. Jingle's b-day today.  'twas a success.  Kids got their 1st Semester final exam marks back, and did well; made a nice pasta/chicken bake, and a nice bottle of wine, and Edible Arrangements for dessert.

Just chillin on the couch now as she's uploading pics to FB.
