I think Zydar needs to make gifs of himself doing random shit.

With my uneventful life, you'd get the same results with a JPG.

good evening
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

Yes, and only one. :lol I don't know why I psyched myself out all day and took so long to read it, because his reply was all good. I still feel bad for letting them down though.

We call it a cool change :lol  - it is pretty crazy though yeah.   No fires of note today which is a good result.

We have air con here yes ........can take about 10-12 degrees off so we can get it down to low 30's inside . Still in English heatwave territory  :D

As a kid, you couldn't go on a drive without hearing them on the radio.  They had some big hits here in the States.  I saw them back up Chicago in the early 2000's.  They were great live as well.

They were big here.  Lonesome Loser was on the dial on 5 different stations at one time.  I remember clicking on the station and I couldn't get away from the some.  Kenny Rodgers was big at the time as well.  I think it was Cowards Of The County.  Am radio was king for a while then I found FM rock.

OK - interesting.  Us Aussies often don't realise how big some of these bands took off overseas - as a kid I was oblivious to the fact that bands like LRB, INXS and Midnight Oil had done well outside of Australia.   Most of the Aussie bands were just local but there were plenty of exceptions.

These days with Aussie metal/melodic rock , most of the bands here are much bigger in Europe than they are in their own country (Black Majesty, Lord, Teramaze, White Widdow etc...)

TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

To be fair, it's usually a safe assumption that Aussie bands don't have success outside of Australia. :lol
I'm still shocked when people from other countries mention Midnight Oil, although I knew LRB and INXS had some level of success outside of this country.

And those were the bands I got into as well.  I was a music whore.  Loved all kinds of music.  Got to see INXS and Midnight Oil Live.  Midnight Oil was a powerful force live.  It was late in their career and they had this rawness to their music.  Garrett was like a preacher on the stage.

Wow, Midnight Oil. They had one or two big songs here, though I can understand why you would be surprised to hear that people outside of Aussieland were aware of them.
