A lot of the crap in that Astonishing thread happens around every new release. A lot of n00bs join, and their excitement and naivite is higher than their knowledge or cool factor.

This is the worst time - a couple of weeks to go, and still waiting for more info.

I am taking off work the 29th so I can just listen to the album and mod the forums lol

So, I had an interesting day!

Right after my last post in this thread, I noticed that I couldn't read Hef's response. I kept leaning closer and closer to the monitor but I couldn't make sense out of what he wrote. Then when I looked across the hall (out my office door), I realized that I really couldn't see anything. It was like all the light was entering my eyes but my brain just could make any detail out of the patterns.

The service manager came into my office and started talking to me. Almost instantly he realized something was wrong and took me to the hospital. By the time we got there my vision had returned and I felt fine. They did a shitload of tests (blood, urine, CT scan, etc.) and pronounced me healthy.

As near as any of us can figure, I had a complex Migraine! They gave me a prescription for Imitrex, a pat on the ass, and showed me the door.

I hate retinal / ocular migraines. Where it's like you have a crack right down the middle of your vision.

After a while you get a glowing zigzag or something in your field of vision that gets larger and larger and when it passes you completely - you start to return to normal.

But the sickness lasts a while

Last one I had was really minor and I knew what was happening so I just accepted it - waited for it to pass and stayed indoors and comfortable for a day or two.

Hope you feel better soon !

Also I hope that's all it was.
