Agreed. I don't know anything about the company Jay works for but I'd say the odds are pretty high that the owner could fart a $100 bill and never even feel it. He should pony up and keep a valuable employee happy.

So, I get there and the circuit is good. Yet nobody claims to have done something to change it. The Verizon techs do this a lot. They claim it's not their fault and there's nothing they can do, then within twenty four hours everything is working again. I know one of our guys didn't do anything because, well, they do shit most of the time.

Fuck yeah it is (it will actually be $1738 all up including shipping, after the $200 cashback deal). It will be the first monitor I've bought since 2002, and the first LCD monitor I've ever had for my PC, so I'm going to make sure it's a good one. This is what it takes to get a monitor that meets my standards.

But it's not a valid joke. This monitor calibrates down to the exact recommended brightness, which isn't bright. The thing will only be running at about 30% of the maximum brightness.

It's a sad fact that the majority of people run their monitors WAY too bright because they just use the shitty defaults, but this monitor is factory calibrated correctly.
