Sinuses are weird. I've got a cold and it feels like I have really sore gums and toothache.

A few snorts of nasal decongestant later and all the ache has completely gone.

Yes. I went to my dentist once because my entire jaw was in serious agony. He found nothing wrong with me but x rayed me and showed me that my sinuses were really swollen and suggested

some decongestant spray. The next day there was no pain at all. At least I know what it is for future. Like this time - I had toothache in a root canal so there's no verve there...So it had to be sinuses

playing up.

You ought to go to an ENT doc. If you overuse the decongestant spray you can get rebound inflammation that is even worse than what you took the spray to treat.

I never over do medication. But I also recently had my ears syringed too.

I don't mean overdose. I mean if you take it too many days in a row, for too long, rebound inflammation can result.

Yeah I don't do that either. I'm very aware of these concerns. If the instructions say " take x times a day for no longer than y days "

Then I basically halve x and y.

Same with anti inflammatory medication ( ibuprofen for example ). You're not supposed to take more than 6 in 24 hours. I take 4 maximum. And several several hours apart.

For example. I don't want to take medication for the sake of it. I don't want to become immune or dependant on it.

I'm still kicking myself for not sticking around when I saw Maiden + DT in 2010. My buddies and I were not Maiden fans at all... so we left 3 songs into the Maiden set. We actually wound up going to Hooters and having a blast but that's another story.

Literally 2 months later I got into Maiden.

I saw Maiden a couple of years ago. I'm not a huge IM fan, but it was a great show, Dickinson was sounding great, and the stage production was cool. It was probably the softest volume gig I've been to, so the sound was really good and clear, and I could actually hear everything. My favourite venue too (which they've just knocked down, or are about to).

So I'm pretty annoyed, because I wrote my exams on the 22nd of February and even though, by law, the results have to be published at the latest a month after the exam, they are still not out.

I mean, I guess I could sue, but I doubt that's a way to make many friends among my professors.

So I'll just be annoyed.
