Well we had a guy ask for the day off a month ago then we had a call out so we are short handed today.  I was out on the floor helping for a while but now I got a weekend guy to come in so we're hanging in today.

Hey Jay! Have you got your resume sorted now?

Yup. Resume is sorted out (have a friend of a friend who is a professional resume drafter who helped me out). I am now working on getting letters of Reference / Recommendation together. So far I have a friend / coworker (same one who helped with my resume), who works for the County, write one up. I also have one from one of the HOA presidents I work for, I have one coming from my supervisor, one coming from a resident, and lastly I have one coming from the owner of my current company. That's huge. He seemed bummed yet he was very  willing to help me out. Today I will finish getting all of that together. Tomorrow I fix a button on my jacked and hem my pants... and then Thursday I go in.

The weather is starting to improve so I decided to go ahead and order my motorbike a new battery.

It was £30.

That week at work I got asked to do more hours. At least 6 over the course of the week as it's half term and they needed some extra help.

I decided that I would since 6 hours * £6.70 an hour = my battery pretty much paid for .

Plus a little bit extra - which I spent on a few episodes of Mythbusters from Google Play.

Since Netflix UK has like the first 3 series and that's it  ...

I can't get enough Mythbusters.

Even though now they only do like two "myths" per show and there's no Tori Grant and Kari.

I liked the build team. More myths per show is better than spending longer on just two myths.

Mythbusters was great until they blew up the cement truck in the quarry. After that, the show slowly went downhill. It became less about science and more about "Jamie want big boom".

Thanks Tomi. Because of happy hour, we got 3 hours for 50 bucks. Not a bad deal.

When you need an answer to something and in your mind you *imagine* asking someone the answer and you imagine their response and the first thing that pops into your head -

I'd say it still improved from there for Adam and Jamie, because that was early days, but the B team often pissed me off, because they were always like "THIS IS MYTHBUSTERS SO OBVIOUSLY THE NEXT STEP IS TO MINDLESSLY BLOW THINGS UP BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT WE DO HUR HUR" and I'd always want to punch them in the face. I was kind of glad when they got ditched.

Had to stay an extra 2 hours at work tonight. Had to send someone... who was intoxicated... home and write up a detailed email / find someone to fill his shift.

First time I've ever had to do that. It was kinda intense.
