" we cannot release your track as it sounds muddy and has clipping "

:p ah if only my distributors were responsible for Death Magnetic.

BlobVanDam

Tell those fuckers they're just not hardcore enough for the SLUDGE

Kotowboy

They put out the last two with no bother...

Oh well. Bandcamp exclusive !

BlobVanDam

Kotowboy

Yeah that was impressive . But until I watched the special features I just assumed it was CGI.

You could so easily just have the actor on the floor with a green cloth over him to paint out later.

Seems *slightly* extraneous to make an entire animatronic head.

But cool :)

BlobVanDam

I haven't seen the movie for the context, but I'd assume they'd CG it exactly like you said. Damn good looking physical prop though.

BlobVanDam

Doesn't look like it was necessary, given how much screen time it got, and that the CG'd a lot of the rest.

Great fight scene though. One of those guys did a pretty cool backbreaker.

I can't remember if they said it was all one long shot or they hid the edits but it's cool anywho.

- That was Nick Frost - from Shaun Of the Dead ( Ed ) and Hot Fuzz ( Danny ) .

BlobVanDam

It's pretty easy to hide edits in those whip pans. They did a similar thing in  a fight scene for The Kingsmen. Personally I find the style a bit nauseating to watch with the camera moving all over the place, but it's impressive.

I don't know Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz, but from the name I think he played Santa in Doctor Who.

Kotowboy

I only like Pegg in those films. He was ok in Run Fatboy Run too but I don't like his Scotty and "Paul" was junk.

BlobVanDam

I don't know those either. Are these British movies by any chance?

Kotowboy

Yeah. Paul was written by Pegg and Nick Frost as a "homage" to Spielberg.

But as soon as the devout Christian character arrives whose faith is shattered by the existence of an alien in the movie you go " oh it's one of these films ".

Run, FatBoy Run also stars Dylan Moran and was directed by David Sschwimmer.

BlobVanDam

I can't say I know "one of those" films, but I don't like the sound of it. :lol

I want to find some new movies to watch. I'm in the mood for something Japanese and ludicrous.

Morning Prog and gang.

I notice prog isn't included with the gang.

Just like in real life.

King Postwhore

Run Fatboy Run was a cute movie.  I think it was directed by David Schwimer (sp?) from Friends.

Your outbursts are concerning and random.  I assumed you were hormonal.

BlobVanDam

That's pretty weak.

And why has nobody uploaded today's episode of Lucha Underground yet dammit?

Podaar

Ever wake up with a stupid song in your head and can't get rid of it?

Well, just now, I woke up with "Into the Void" rolling round in my head.  :metal :metal  It's going to be a kick ass, mother of a day.

King Postwhore

I heard somebody whistling a song yesterday, a TV jingle to be exact, and I couldn't get it out of my head.

Funny, I was thinking that I was going to have a bad day. I turned on my car and forgot I didn't have a CD in the player, so the radio came on. It was David Lee Roth, so I just knew my day was doomed. After that, AC/DC came on. I should have just turned around and went home.

THAT was funny. That's where Dave belongs, in comedy. Though his singing ability was comical, so I see the natural leap.

King Postwhore

I disagree.  I've heard his radio show. :lol

It's no wonder you need that username, Prog Snob. It's a disclaimer of wrongness, like how pedophiles have to tell all of their neighbors when they move into a new area.
