My Church Orchestra

unklejman:
My church featured the orchestra and jazz band last Sunday night and I got a recording with my video camera and mixed it with the sound board mix. It's not the best but it is better than any other recording we've gotten. Keep in mind we have no string players so it is more of a wind ensemble.

We had a guest trombone player/conductor named Ken Hughs. He plays for Denver and the Mile High Orchestra which you may have seen on "The Next Great American Band"

I play the horn in the orchestra and trombone in the jazz band.

unklejman:
Ok it should be fixed, not sure why it abbreviated it.

Icebear:
That was great! If we had band like that in my church, I'd be mighty proud. The soloist wasn't too bad either.  ;)

yeshaberto:
no doubt, that was very cool...didn't sound "churchy" and just fun sounding music.  I like it  :tup
