My wife spent $7.99 for a 12 pk at Trader Joe's! Tastes every bit as bad as you'd think.

Actually, it has great color and body, and at 6.4% it holds up its end of the bargain but the taste...

Not sure if anyone is familiar with Paulaner, but it is the most disgusting beer I've ever had. I know it's fairly popular, but it has a flavor that is gross AF. Well, this isn't as strong flavorwise as Paulaner, but it has those tones that I really don't like.

I'm not a fan of Paulaner either so I think I know what you are talking about here. Granted that's a good price and I've always heard good things about Trader Joe's beer and wine, there just isn't one close to me.

Oh man Founder is a solid choice, I think it's time for me to crack a beer open. I have about 60 bottles of various homebrew beers my buddy cooked up, most are pretty good but all are strong as hell.
