Been drinking beer on and off most of the day. Currently sipping my way through this monster

18.6% ABV bourbon barrel stout aged on cocoa nibs and coffee beans. Epic and decadent.

Where the hell do I get my hands on that!?!?!

Drinking some now, gf picked up Peach Apricot Blue Moon, it's surprisingly good. Not something I'd have all the time but it fits the season.

Holy shit! Spot everything wrong with this video... but, you'll need to stop looking at JaNee's chest long enough to pay attention.

The best part was several dashes of bitters with an empty Angostura bottle... in a close up!   :lol

No...on second thought the best part was muddling unnecessary and unwanted fruit with the handle of a yard maintenance implement.  :lol

On third thought, scooping ice with a glass so that the drink contains a proper amount of glass shards.  :lol

Oooo, ooo, wait, how about the 12 oz of crappy bourbon!  :lol

I lost it when she just dumped in all that bourbon. Like WTF. The comment with the timestamps saying "3 oz, 6 oz, 9 oz bourbon" had me in tears  :lol :lol

Sadly only sold through the brewery's reserve society (pay upfront and get 10 bottles "free" during the year, plus monthly opportunities to purchase additional beers that are either exclusive to the club or also available to the public but club members get a discount)

Cleaning the house and wrapping gifts, Christmas is at my house this year since my parents moved to Florida and while they flew in today we can't go to their house as traditionally we would.

Home from the parents', got some of Ballast Point's Victory At Sea. Enjoying a nice fancy new stein with it. Becoming a fancy drunk, apparently.

Okay, I have a question. Possibly a stupid one, but I have done extensive Googling (many times at this point) and I cannot find an answer to this - which is pretty impressive, I think.

I got an authentic, handmade stein from Germany for Christmas. In the picture below, it's the one on the left. The one on the right is my late grandfather's on my mother's side. I don't know if it's safe to drink from mine. I won't even chance it with my grandfather's (several reasons: respect, age of the stein, potentially unsafe), but I want to drink out of mine at least on special occasions - holidays, mainly.

But there are no markings on it indicating that it is for display only, or that it is unsafe to drink from. And I can't even find any info on Google if these are safe to drink out of, even on the King-Werk website. The inside is glazed and shiny and smooth, so I would assume it is safe to drink from. I think they're amazing decoration pieces and I want to get more, but I also want to drink out of one. Unfortunately the lid on mine came kind of offset, not a big deal, but it's a slight imperfection nonetheless.

I don't know much about them, but considering they are made to use for drinks, I would immediately think it's safe.

In.  Grey goose, about to catch an uber to the sold out Clutch/Devin Townsend concert tonight to end my 2017 concert year.  :yarr
