Was it with Rik Emmett?

Let me check...

I'm still amazed you have a pic with Emmett and Jennifer Grey.  Impressive.

I am officially non alcoholic as of tonight.
Put down two Coors Edges and a Heineken 0.0.  :lol

Been 50/50 over the last couple of weeks trying to find something I like. The taste is off in a few of them, but it ain't like I've loved every regular beer I've drank. But it's the lack of body that is the tough part. I've tried about a half dozen different beers. I am an English/Irish Ale lover, so actually the best thing I've had so far is the O'Douls Amber. Good taste and actually has some body to it.

I'll still have a regular beer at special occasions going forward. But those will be few and far between.

If anyone has some recommendations, I'll take them.

Been off alcohol for 7 years now as a personal/health choice but still enjoy beer. Check out Athletic beer company. A lot of the other NA beers are IPA which isn't my bag but Athletic has a Golden Dawn and Upside Down that I enjoy. I think they are both golden lagers. I also like Stella's NA, St. Pauli Girl and Becks NAs. All of them are better than the coors, odoulls and Heineken swill IMO.
I also tried a gin alternative (Ritual Proof) this New Years. I used to enjoy gin and tonics so I decided to give it a try. Not too bad and the drinks were enjoyable however most of what I was tasting was the lime and tonic.

Thank you. I've seen the Athletic. They have a couple different ones right?

The Coors didn't impress me, but the Odouls Amber is still the best I've had. I actually like it.
I've tried the Guinness
Lagunitas IPNA
Sam Adams Just The Haze

I'll try the Beck's, St. Paulie's, and Stellas, but I was iffy on their regular beers. Thank you!

Scotch of some sort.  Probably gonna pour another one shortly.  Shitty evening.

So far so good. Particularly appreciating the weather right now, in the 80s here is much better than ~freezing temps home in NJ.

In. Rye and Coke while watching some UFC.

There is available a Whiskey that is branded Blackened in cooperation with Metallica. It pairs very nicely with Coke because of its strong peppery notes and rye like finish, but is smokier than rye. I recommend it highly for mixing with sweeter mixes and cocktails because of its ability to cut through the sweetness.

I love Blackened actually. I remember ordering a bottle as a joke thinking it was going to be some shoddy whiskey cashing in on the Metallica name but I was surprised how good it was.

Our vendor took us out for some beers and apps after work today.  Had a couple Tiger beers.  Was a very nice night here and a much needed break from the action of work. I wouldn't be surprised if I go back to that spot this weekend for some more.
