I was considering watching Roadhouse, last night. Then I thought better of it.

My daughter and I have a poster of "100 Great Movies" that we're slowly getting through ('bout a quarter of the way).  We're being good on the picks, even the ones we're not thrilled with, but we're toying with allowing ONE substitution for me, my daughter and my wife.  I've already told them both that "Roadhouse" is my substitution.

I LOVE that movie.

Oh, starting early; a glass of 14 Hands Merlot.  May move to Tito's and soda when I start cooking here in about an hour or so.

Have they seen it before?

I have to pick up our new cabinets for the bathroom tonight.  Contractor comes tomorrow to start renovating it all.  Drinks when I get home.

I'm going to workout.  I'll be in with a post-recovery drink in a couple hours.

Am I doing it rite?

Not really. This is not the Exercise Thread.

Most people are drinking here PRE-recovery.

Apparently today is national rose day... so last night we prepped a rose based sangria that's been soaking up all night and we will be having our first of many drinks of it soon.  And FYI, I am not into rose or even know that was today, just coincidence and my girl's idea to make a sangria.  I'm sure it'll be good though, we did a red wine based sangria a month ago that was really good.

I recently (like two weeks back) had this Bombay Sapphire gin. It's fairly expensive for me but by far the best gin I've tried.

Yeah, in our home, Sapphire is standard. It’s funny, Gin is probably the only alcohol that I can’t find an affordable favorite. It’s premium or nothing.

Yup. Going a little too loose with the wrong gin may result in restrain from any kind of gin for quite a bit.

Or so I'm told.

I was tempted to finish the remainder of last night's jack and apple juice when I got up this morning.  I settled for a few sips and will save the rest for later.

I had a couple friends over last night. I drank three Mickeys 24 oz beers while we all sat and watched Breaking The Fourth Wall on bluray. I'll tell you what, that concert is just a hoot to watch and crank loud when your buzzed!  :metal :metal 🍻

I've really been unable to enjoy gin at all, maybe because I haven't gone premium.

Anyway, here's the rose sangria we made.... came out really tasty but also didn't come out strong enough for my liking considering the sugar intake.

 :lol  Cheers!

It belonged to my gramp; I had the valves extracted and put a transistor radio inside to make it currently work.

I just love old stuff
