Loved every minute of it. I'm tearing the thing down this year.
Today I drained it, and took half of the metal decking apart.

So last year, my youngest went in it a couple of times.
The year before he went in it about 10 times

My oldest hasn't been in it in two years, my wife even longer. I've only been in it to clean it the past 2 or 3 years.

I wanted to take it down last year, but my wife wanted to keep it one more year. This year I told her it was history. Not worth the few hundred bucks and my time for a half hour's usage.

Heaven Hill and apple juice.

During peak summer weekends, we've got company nearly every weekend in the pool, drinking, grilling, and listening to bitchin 80s hard rock. It's never going away.

in ... Glenmorangie 12- Lasanta.

I opened my pool yesterday.  Last year I paid a company to do it; this year, tried it on my own. All seems to be fine.  One minor glitchy thing I gotta figure out, but otherwise, she ought to be swim-worthy by Tuesday.

My new PC build went sideways today, but I had a titos and club while watching the Kataonia live stream with DTFers while I fixed my new PC build.  All is well in the world now, except its very dark outside now (compared to the Utah suset)

So I got some of Dan akroyds Crystal Head vodka

Man, this shit is smooth. I normally am not so much into vodka, but this one goes down real nice.

Busy day but wasn't planning on drinking.  Then I saw this unusual bottle sitting on our liquor cabinet and discovered my husband bought me a gift.

There aren't enough "o"s in the word "smooth" to describe this.  Amazing.  But I gotta post the tag description...

"Distilled 4 times from the highest quality, locally sourced Canadian corn.  Silky smooth with a hint of sweetness and vanilla.  Both vodkas are filtered through Herkimer diamonds and blended with pristine Newfoundland water."  And on the back:  "To the creative class; we are the purest and smoothest vodka made with creativity that provides inspiration to dream, build, and make.  Unlike other vodka brands, we see the world differently; without limitations. We catapult imagination into reality."

Shit, I thought wine snobs were wordy.

Try reading a Scotch label!!

Damn, I'm not a big vodka drinker, so I'd never known Aykroyd was the owner of Crystal Head.  I know of his winery, it's only about 30km from where we live, and we've been there many times.  I know what I'm trying next visit out (soon- Mrs.Jingle loves here summer fruit cocktails, and we're low on Vodka)

This seems like a great place to wish everyone a farewell.  Thanks for the laughs.

I think Dave Manchester had the right idea, so I'm heading out of here.  Cheers to you all.

Bosk.  As usual.  I didn't read thru the thread, just checked Harmony's post history, and seems there was another dust up between her and Bosk.  Seems to be the common theme with the people who bail from DTF.

Gonna miss her discussions.

Bosk.  As usual.

Yes.  It indeed is a "usual" pattern that when folks either cannot follow rules or do not like having their opinions questioned that they either leave or are made to leave.  In this case, she didn't like that I had a different opinion than she did.  The posts are there if you do care to read them instead of making incorrect assumptions.

Boy, the irony is rich on the bolded comment!

I'm unclear how I've made an incorrect assumption.  First, is it not simply factual it was her interaction with you is what resulted in her decision to leave?  Second, she's not the first person to up and leave as a result of interactions with you.  Where is my incorrect assumption?

Be a big boy and at least own it, whether you like it or think it's fair, it is a fact
