Hill Farmstead.   Pure perfection.

Hill Farmstead Society and Solitude #5. Amazing.

Now, 1792 small batch bourbon on the rocks.  Many flavors hitting the pallet with this one.

In.  Goose per the usual, Rob Zombie and Korn tonight  :metal  Not a fan of Korn at all really, but Rob Zombie (and White Zombie) has a few solid songs and should put on a good show.

So sad it's the last show at the PNC Arts Center for the summer for me which means summer is over  :(

I've been neglecting this thread. In tonight for football and starting with a glass or two of homebrewed English Mild. Nice and toasty/malty, kind of like a brown ale but only 3.4% ABV, so conducive to lots and lots of drinking :hat

Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

Ooooh, I love absinthe! Is it the good stuff or a toned down American brand?

It's Absente (which is at least made in France)...though my only frame of reference is Lucid, which seems to be aimed at college kids with too much disposable income...it's 1.5x the price of Absente, and lacks the nuance and balance.  Absente was the recommendation from the barkeep at the hole-in-the-wall absinthe bar in New Orleans where we first had it.

What's your preferred one?
