6 new beers tonight already. I'll be at 500 unique beers before Sunday, at this rate. 500 by November would make an average on 125 new beers per year.

The Staten Island Ferry has a craft beer place now. I saw that they had a few of the Ballast Point brews, but not the habanero one, so I tried the Watermelon Dorado. Gods that tasted nasty.

my date last night saw the tap at the bar we were at and she was considering to get the Watermelon Dorado but decided against it because she thought it was likely nasty. Glad to know it is nasty

It is truly beautiful up there. When the leaves change go up Ry 100 where is becomes a single road through a mountain notch. It's stunning.

I was at my cousin's christening the other day and the bartender decided to make a Bloody Mary with Grey Goose. First of all, a total waste of Grey Goose. Second of all, it was the worst Bloody Mary I've ever had.

Well I doubt it was bad due to the vodka choice, but granted, bloody marys are disgusting if you ask me.

It had nothing to do with the vodka choice. I was more surprised that they would waste an expensive vodka on a drink where you barely taste the alcohol.

I make a pretty killer one that's spicy enough to make the devil cry. I use cheap vodka though. It doesn't come in plastic bottles.
