I just turned 21 and have been a good boy. No previous fake ID's or anything. I would drink on occasion, but I've always just had stuff to relax with. I'm kind of in this discovery mode of wanting to try a bunch of new things. So far, I really like Shock Top the best. My roommate bought me some Root Beer Ale for my birthday because he knows I'm a big root beer guy, and it was pretty good. I also like Michelob Ultra.

The few different types of Root Beer type beers I've had recently have tasted so much like regular Root Beer and also have a good punch to them.  I really enjoy having one, but I can't have more than one or two.

Yup, same here.

This is what I have. Good stuff but like you said, something I can only drink in small doses before I get tired of the taste.

In. Brooklyn Improved Old Fashioned. It's a strong rye ale spiced with similar botanicals to what goes in an Old Fashioned cocktail, then aged in rye whiskey barrels. Very well executed.

I'm going to be seeking this out post haste.  I went to the BB website and read up on the full description...and I'll be honest, I got sort of aroused.  Glad Buy Rite has a great selection and I should be able to find it (though they never did get the Xocoveza, which still pisses me off).

If you can't find it let me know, I think my local shop still has some.

I'm interested in taking you up on this, if the offer is still on the table and the beer on the shelf.  I figured the JC Buy Rite would have it, but I was sadly mistaken.

A bit early for me, but took the day off work while the guys installed the new HVAC in my house.  They are nearing the end and I finished cleaning my shed so why not.

In.  Harpoon Leviathan IPA

I was looking to see if we carry that, but it looks like we only have the rye.

It was my first time trying it and I can see why it's priced a bit higher than some of the other bourbons in the store. It has a slight sweet taste to it but not overbearing. I will definitely be buying it again, unless I decide to try some recommendations here. *wink wink*
