In, a couple of drams of Balvenie 14 (rum cask finished), followed by three Red stripe while having some slow-grilled jerk ribs.

I'm intrigued by the cabernet-finished bourbon as well.  I would think it would be more fall/winter with that profile, though?

Anyone ever deal with headaches from drinking? I don't mean a hangover the next day, I mean just casual beer consumption causing headaches. I'll tell you, it's getting really bad with me. I had three beers over the course of an hour over the weekend and it felt like someone was driving a railroad spike through the left side of my head. It doesn't matter if it's a single beer or ten, I always getting a pounding headache in the hours to follow.

It happens from time to time with me; I never know. And no it is not a hangover, because it could be 1 beer... sometimes it's like 3... but I've drank way more and been fine... but I'll wake up at 3-4 AM with a migraine headache... hurts so bad and I puke.
I don’t know what to put here anymore

In. Brooklyn Improved Old Fashioned. It's a strong rye ale spiced with similar botanicals to what goes in an Old Fashioned cocktail, then aged in rye whiskey barrels. Very well executed.

I'm going to be seeking this out post haste.  I went to the BB website and read up on the full description...and I'll be honest, I got sort of aroused.  Glad Buy Rite has a great selection and I should be able to find it (though they never did get the Xocoveza, which still pisses me off).

In true Cos fashion, I passed through the living room this morning and saw a half full glass resting on the table at the end of the couch. I thought I'd finished that drink last night.

Warm gin and tonic for breakfast. Mmmmm!

It's hot as hell here today, so I think a pitcher full of blended "Bahama Mama" is in order!
