SPOILER ALERT:  I had a dream last night;  The first CD of The Astonishing contains 3 songs (8min, 8min , 15min) and the drums sounded amazing! :D  And guess what..... The first song was On The Backs Of Angels with a different title.

Not really a spoiler when we already know it isn't true  :lol

I hope so :D

-Encore:  You Not Me; You Not Me II (Reprise)
Will that be with the polka breakdown, the dubstep extended guitar solo, the extra verses about how it's not about you or me but about them, or will it be the black metal single edit?

That's alright
I'm okay

Are they really going to have a song called Lord Nafaryus? This is TCOT level stuff here.

Well, maybe when being looked at individually.
It makes sense in the context of the album.

And TCOT makes sense in context too. I'm just saying, there is now a DT song called Lord Nafaryus. Let it sink in. :lol

I would think that it's a little more understandable in a cartoon aimed at little kids to sell toys, than a veteran prog band's latest album concept, but nice dodge.

We'll probably see it soon with the next official update anyway.
Exactly, it's all going to be released eventually.

I deleted a couple of posts in this thread. Given how clearly bosk said not be posting or discussing unauthorised info, how about we stop discussing unauthorised info? :P

I'm thinking those song titles are just parts of a whole musical piece. Like Neal Morse's "?". If so, first act could be a 50 minutes piece of continuous music.

I can only hope "Lord Nafaryus" is an instrumental...

Also - "The Hovering Sourjon" - what sort of a title is that??

And I can only assume "Three Days" is a cover of the Jane's Addiction song... (That would be so kewl!)  :hat

Nah most likely a tribute to the band with the singer who only writes about his drug problem, Three Days Grace, good fit to DT for sure.

It's weird, being a DT fan, I don't remember if I've ever felt the sensation of getting a lot of new songs at same time.
I was kinda getting used to the "11 - 12" songs format with ADTOE and DT12. And by the time of 6DOIT ( a double album like The Ashtonishing) I wasn't that much into DT. I started to follow them like "move by move" when TOT came out.

So you were getting used to the 6-9 songs format then.. They haven't done an album with 11-tracks-at-least since SFaM..

Possibly Lord Nafaryus is an instrumental... though considering how close to the Overture it is, probably not. Could be a cool track that doesn't have a cheesy chorus.....
Everything is immaterial. Do you know that reality is immaterial? This is not reality.
