I don't know why people would want an ungodly long album anyway.
Length isn't everything (lol).
The more important thing is whether the length is warranted. The Dear Hunter's Color Spectrum is 9 EPs and is something like 2.5 hours, but the very nature of it and way it fits together means it never feels too long. Partly it's the amount of variety across it so that it's enjoyable in a single listen, but the structure also makes it easy to dip into one or a few EPs at a time, rather than all at once.
Anyway, that's just an example, but long =/= bad in the same way that long =/= good.
