Drawing - Not Really a Return to Form
« on: October 02, 2015, 03:22:27 PM »
I used to post lots of artwork years ago but fell way out of the habit. Since I happened to draw today, I figured I'd post it. All freehand, but I feel way out of practice and see a lot of spots that need improvement.

Yeah dude that shit needs improvement.

 :P

I think it looks awesome! But it's always good to know where you need to improve or that you need to at all. It usually goes to shit whenever one thinks they're the best of the best and that no improvement is necessary.

This is the first real drawing I've done in a while. I struggled with the uniformity while laying out the shape and had to redo the knotwork twice, so it definitely didn't feel polished during creation. After the fact, I see some spacing inconsistencies and symmetry issues that I wish I could correct now. Sorry, didn't mean to seem "passive impressive." I feel I used to be a lot better and more consistent in years past.

Just giving you a hard time. I don't doubt you know your skill level well, but out of practice you is still far above average. :)
