« on: September 17, 2015, 01:00:46 PM »
Lifeline (Special Edition)
Lifeline
Leviathan
Children of the Chosen
So Many Roads

Round 2's Results:
Leviathan 1 (10%)
God's Love 4 (40%)
Children Of The Chosen 2 (20%)
Fly High 3 (30%)

5. Fly High
6. God's Love
7. The Way Home
    Set The Kingdom
9. Sometimes He Waits

Another Two-Day round, but down to one vote per person this time. In the event of a tie, we'll have a tie-breaker as we need to determine a definitive Top Three for this. These are the best of the album, but COTC is the weakest here for me.

Contrary to what some might vote, I will go with So Many Roads.  I know it's the epic, but for me it is the leas "epic" of any of Neal's epics.  It feels to me like it is building to something, but never quite gets there, so it is just kind of overlong for me.  I think it could benefit by being chopped about 10 minutes or so.
Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

So many roads is a different kind of epic. I guess it lacks that especially beautiful or particularly heavy bit, it's kinda samey all the way through. But I still think it's fantastic.

My vote might be a bit controversial, going with the title track.

Yeah, So Many Roads is really samey all the way through.

It is a chore to listen all the way, because I get frightfully bored.
