I took a page from one Russian football commentator's book, who recently nailed the deepest aspects of football theory and analytics concluding his speech with saying that "football matches can end with different scores" and then went silent for like a minute, letting us ponder that statement.

After one listen guys I don't see any huge changes in standings after this mostly solid but unspectacular round. We might see one or two move in/out of the Top 6 but the top to bottom range isn't likely to move much, if at all.

The base scores (without any bonus points) are likely to be within a 1.5 pt range across the 12 songs at this stage. Still plenty of listening to happen but that's very initial impressions.

I am thinking maybe that 1.5 pt range I talked about might be about to increase to 2pts (with the extra half point to the upside) , so there's been 3 or 4 growers. So it might be a little more interesting than I first thought with the effect this round has on the standings.

I can't 100% promise as I am managing a dozen dunderhead tradies here as we get a house ready for sale (patience being sorely tested and time is limited) - so unlikely during the day but I expect most likely tonight my time (Thurs morning US) rather than the weekend as initially predicted..
